This installation is a tribute to the rich legacy of chai at Café Niloufer, where every cup carries the flavors, stories, and spirit of Hyderabad. At the top, delicate leaf-like modules symbolize the lush tea gardens, where every brew begins. Below, 2025 descending spheres represent dried tea leaves falling into the kettle, swirling and churning as they boil and release their essence into the brew. This dynamic motion mirrors the intensity of the boiling process, where flavors deepen, aromas rise, and chai takes form. As the transformation completes, the spheres merge into a kettle of 1500 interconnected spheres, the heart of the process—where simple ingredients blend into the soulful, fragrant chai that has defined Niloufer for generations. This installation mirrors the rhythm of chai-making, celebrating the hands that prepare it, the moments it creates, and the tradition it sustains. At Café Niloufer, chai is more than a beverage—it’s a ritual, a connection, and a shared experience. Kettle of Love pays homage to this legacy, inviting you to pause, look up, and appreciate the journey behind every cup.
