RASYA: The free-standing sculpture represents a female posture of Kuchipudi dance which is popularly recognized by many people in India. A look at the sculpture shows that it is meant to inspire the traditional dance form and at the same time instigate and boost the pride of the intangible heritage of the country.
Kuchipudi gives importance to each and every part of the body and hence it is considered to have fluid-like motion. Similarly, this posture depicts fluidic movement to enhance the beauty of this traditional dance form.
